Gaëtan, can you introduce yourself ?

I have always been passionate about exploring the early stages of new technologies. With a background in computer science, I had the unique opportunity to complete my master’s thesis with a team that would later launch Siri. My guiding principle has always been to explore how human-computer interaction can enhance our lives. Over the years, I have applied this vision across various fields, continuously striving to improve how people interact with technology.

As one of the co-founders, can you tell us the story of Immensive?

The journey of Immensive began during our time at Atracsys, where we developed advanced optical tracking systems for surgical applications. During a challenging financial period, we were approached by a prestigious watch company with an intriguing request: to replicate the futuristic hand gestures seen in Minority Report. Inspired, we reimagined the algorithms of our tracking system to enable hand-tracking capabilities—and it worked seamlessly! The overwhelming success of this project led us to create a dedicated branch, which eventually spun off into Immensive.

According to you, what are the assets of the company?

Our core mission is to simplify and enhance interactions between users and the digital world. With over 15 years of experience, we have developed unparalleled expertise in creating efficient and intuitive digital experiences across diverse hardware platforms. Without a doubt, our greatest asset is our highly skilled and experienced team, who share a passion for innovation and excellence.

What have you learned from your experience?

While creating immersive experiences — whether on interactive tables or through AR/VR — often generates a “wow” factor, I have learned that true value lies in the impact we deliver. Our focus is always on tangible outcomes for our clients, whether it’s improving sales, enhancing brand experiences, or facilitating better communication.

What do you particularly like in your line of work?

What excites me most is the variety of projects we undertake and the complex technical challenges they bring. Every day is a new opportunity to innovate, learn, and push the boundaries of what’s possible. I also genuinely enjoy collaborating with my colleagues; the team spirit, positive atmosphere, and commitment to quality make Immensive a truly rewarding place to work.
